SCOTT HIRSCH

Scott Hirsch is a producer, engineer, and sound designer working across music, film, and immersive audio. A Grammy-nominated audio engineer and longtime member of Hiss Golden Messenger, his work lives at the intersection of storytelling, texture, and emotional resonance.

In addition to releasing multiple solo full-length albums and touring internationally, Scott operates Echo Magic—a post-production house, record label, and studio collective supporting artists and filmmakers with intention and craft. His projects include acclaimed film scores and recordings such as First Cow (dir. Kelly Reichardt), Hayden Pedigo’s I’ll Be Waving As You Drive Away, and Alice Gerrard’s Grammy-nominated Follow the Music.
